Our Wind Turbine generates electricity for the farm

Keepers Lodge Farm continues as a family run Dairy farm of some 200 acres owned by father and son, Clive and Rob Prichard.  Set high up in the Monmouthshire hills its acres are made up of grassland in deep valleys, beautiful woodland and rolling arable fields.

Clive and Rob are at the forefront of specialist Dairy Farming, milking some 180 cows and managing nearly 650 acres in total.

Keepers Lodge Farm is trying to do its bit for sustainable energy and on the drive down to Chestnut Lodges you won’t fail to notice our Wind Turbine.  This together with solar panels on many of our buildings help to keep us running!

Diversification being a necessity in today’s farming life encouraged Clive to start a small Clay Pigeon Shoot to enjoy with family and friends.  Around 10 years ago this popular Clay Shoot developed into the regular event it is today.  A social occasion enjoyed by many.

Our latest project has been the development of Chestnut Lodges.  As a family we appreciate how lucky we are to live in such beautiful surroundings and wanted to share our beautiful countryside with you.
